The global chemical industry is undergoing profound shifts amid reshaping geopolitics, rising trade barriers and volatile energy costs. The traditional globalized supply chain framework is rapidly restructuring, with regionalization, localization and industrial clustering emerging as key industry trends. Persistent market uncertainties, dual-carbon policies, stricter hazardous chemicals regulations, and the accelerated adoption of AI & digital twin, have shifted chemical supply chains from pure efficiency to a new era balancing safety, resilience, efficiency, sustainability and intelligence.
