She is currently Senior Manager, Transportation and Distribution Safety for
BASF Greater China, responsible for the safety management of chemical
transport, storage, and distribution across Greater China (including Hong Kong
and Taiwan). She also serves as a member of the Ministry of Expert Group on
Dangerous Goods Road Transportation, deputy leader of the Storage and
Transportation Safety Working Group of the Responsible Care Committee at the
China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, chair of the Storage &
Transportation Regulations Group of the Foreign-invested Enterprises Committee
at the Petrochemical Industry Association, and chair of the CRSAS and CWSAS
technical committees.
She previously served for more than ten years as chair of the Storage &
Transportation Safety Subcommittee of the Association ofInternational Chemical
Manufactures. She has over 25 years of EHS experience with well-known domestic
and international petroleum and chemical companies, andshe is familiar with
national EHS laws and regulations. She has focused on chemical storage and
transport safety management for more than 15 years and is well versed in
international and domestic regulatory and standards systems related to chemical
transport and storage. She has actively participated in national standards for Dangerous
Goods road transport and hazardous chemical storage, such as the "Road
Transport Rules for Dangerous Goods" (JT/T 617) and the "General
Rules for Hazardous Chemicals Storage" (GB 15603).
She has also been an industry representative promoting the development and
establishment of the Chemical Road Safety Assessment System (CRSAS) and the
Chemical Warehouse Safety Assessment System (CWSAS). CRSAS and CWSAS have
become widely recognized industry benchmarks guiding the advancement of road
and warehouse safety for chemicals.
