Atish enables
agile, reliable and differentiated services, to a wide range of Fortune 500
customers around the world for BASF’s Electronics Materials business unit. In
his current role as the Global Supply Chain Director, he leads a team of over
130 colleagues based in 7 locations in Shanghai, Taoyuan, Singapore, Malaysia,
South Korea, Germany and the US.
Focused on
delivering cutting edge services to customers like TSMC, SMIC, HHG, Intel,
Samsung, Atish and his team is deeply involved in providing high level of
customized service to leading companies in the Semiconductor, Metals Systems
and Display industries.
Atish is a MBA in
Operations Management & Information Management, with a bachelor’s degree in
mechanical engineering. He is certified as a Theory of Constraints application
expert and a Value Methodology Associate (VMA) from the Society of American
Value Engineers (SAVE, International, USA).
With over 26years
of work experience in Automotive, Management Consulting and Chemical industry,
he has worked in Tata Motors, Accenture Consulting, Siemens IT Solutions &
Services, Tata Strategic Management Group (TSMG) and now is in his 4th role
over the last 12 years working in BASF having done stints in 3 different
locations: India, Singapore and Taiwan.
Atish brings to
the table a unique mix of operational experience and strategic outlook with
deep insights into Supply Chain process optimization and digital transformation
across industry segments and across different geographies. He has successfully
built multi-ethnic, diverse teams in different countries and led large-scale
transformation initiatives for Order-to-Cash process improvements and Customer
Experience enhancement initiatives.
He’s an avid
reader and writer having published several articles in leading journals and
speaking in marque events, including in 2021 in this Global Chemical SC (China)
Summit. He enjoys travelling, playing tenpin bowling and hiking during his free
time.
