Dr. Liu Mingzhong,
Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering from Nanjing University of Science
and Technology, also an EMBA from Missouri State University, joined Wanhua
Chemical in 2008 and is currently serving as the General Manager of the
Procurement Department. He has long been engaged in research on macroeconomics,
raw material procurement, and supply chain management, and has published three
EI papers.
Dr. Liu Mingzhong
has built an international professional procurement team with a total of over a
hundred members, more than 80% of which hold master’s degrees. The procurement
business covers a wide range of areas including the group’s bulk raw materials,
energy and public utilities, catalysts and auxiliary materials, packaging
materials procurement, and service procurement. The procurement business
focuses on enhancing the control of the industry chain, supply chain, and
ecosystem chain to support the high-quality development of the company,
undertaking the important mission of Wanhua’s “full life cycle low-cost
strategy”.
