| Dr. Guo was one of the 11th group of experts invited by the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the CPC, focusing on the field of Long-term Financial Management Innovation. He is the Deputy Director of Monetary Policy and Financial Stability Research Center at Tsinghua University, guest professor at Centural University of Finance and Economics and Beijing National Accounting Institute, Dean of Hande Fintech Research Institute, consultant of the Asset Securitization Committee at Asset Management Association of China, Postdoctor Mentoring Expert at Shanghai Futures Exchange, member of the Asset Securitization Committee of Shanghai Stock Exchange, member of council at Global Chinese Real Estate Congress, Executive Director at Shanghai Academy of Infrastructure Optimization, member of council at Shanghai Overseas Returned Scholars Association, member of committee at Shanghai Finance Youth Association, member of council at Xie Yu Education Foundation, and is non-executive board member or consultant at several companies. He was awarded “Favorite Professor of 2017” by EMBA & Executive Education program students.
Dr. Guo was APAC General Manager and member of Global Investment Committee at ZAIS Group in 2014. Prior to that, he worked at IDC, Seer Capital Management, Credit Suisse, Fannie Mae, etc. He won in the China Securities Regulatory Commission Global Recruitment of Shanghai Futures Exchange Deputy General Manager, and was offered the position of Chief Economic Engineer.
Dr. Guo has published over 50 papers and over 400 investment essays on Journal of Futures Markets, Journal of Structural Finance, China Finance, Financial market research, etc. His analysis and research results were often published on Wall Street Times and Chicago Tribune. He has a Doctor’s Degree in Economics from Indiana University.
